How To: Connect a Chevron Mako with a Gilbarco Passport CR and a DC401.
This applies to stores that have just installed a Chevron Mako and removed the Linksys or Cisco RV042 Passport router.
- From the C-Store Office home page go to Data Entry > Dashboard.
- Scroll down to Station Options and click Cash Register.
- Select Advanced.
- Under DC LAN, enter the following settings:
- Mode: Static
- IP: 192.168.13.2
- Mask: 255.255.255.0
- Gateway: 0.0.0.0
- CR Connection: Checked
- Lower on the page, under CR IP enter 10.5.48.2.
- Connect an ethernet cable from the LAN port on the DC401 into into Port 3 (or into the switch that is connected to port 3) on the Mako.
- Check and see if you see a link light on Port 4 of the SCA-325.
Note: If you don't see a link light, call Cybera and ask them to enable port 4 for back office.
The following final steps must be completed by a Petrosoft Tech. Please call Petrosoft technical support to complete the process.
- Sign into the DC401 via SSH.
- Edit the /etc/rc.local file.
- Add route add 10.5.48.2 gw 192.168.13.1 to the last line of the file.
- Save the file.
- Reboot the DC401.
