Question: How can I see the on-hand inventory for items on the SmartPOS?

Answer:

First, activate real-time inventory in C-Store Office

1. Go to Data Entry > Dashboard.
2. Scroll to Station options and click Cash Register.
3. At the top of the page select the Advanced view, using the corresponding radio button.
4. Check the box for Realtime Inventory.
5. Click Save.

Next, activate the real-time inventory for the SmartPOS

1. Click on the app switcher in the top left corner and choose SmartPOS.
2. Make sure that License Management is selected.
3. Choose the location you wish to affect, and click Edit.
4. In the grey area on the left side choose the Software option .
5. Check the checkbox for Realtime Inventory.
6. Save and let the register sync with C-Store Office.

Now, when you are at the register

1. On the main screen where you scan items, click the Inventory button.
   Result: A new column should appear.
2. Scan an item. The on-hand inventory should appear in that new column.
