How to remove old promotions from a Verifone Commander or Sapphire CR?

1. Make sure you save 3 blank XML files, with very specific names. Save them to a folder on your computer. The file names will have to be exactly:
   Maintenance&dataset=Combo
   Maintenance&dataset=ItemList
   Maintenance&dataset=MixMatch
2. Log into the Sapphire CR using Sapphire Configuration Manager.
3. Click on the Tools header.
4. Choose the option Import Configuration Data.
5. Choose the folder from your computer, and select all the files.
6. Click Import, and then Close when you get the message that the import is done. This will remove ALL the promotions in the register.
7. Log out of the sapphire.
8. Go back into CStoreOffice® and push the full price book to send all the promotions to the cash register.
9. Accept item updates for the location.
   Result: After half an hour, the store should be able to sign out and back in on the register. The only promotions that should be in the register are the cstore ones.
