Problem: SmartPOS scanner beeps once and the error message "Item not found" appears
Solution:
- Check that the item with that barcode is on the register.
Note: To do this, go to item screen > search and scan barcode there. - If it won't scan any item or just that item, scan something else.
Note: Did it work before? When did it stop working? Does it have a wrinkled or strange barcode?
If the barcode is foreign, the scanner may need reprogrammed.
