Question: How to make item changes in SmartPOS and update the price book?
Answer:
Normally item updates will only come from Price Book to the SmartPOS register. If you are making changes to items on the register, you might want to push them to the CStoreOffice® price book.
In CStoreOffice®:
Normally item updates will only come from Price Book to the SmartPOS register. If you are making changes to items on the register, you might want to push them to the CStoreOffice® price book.
In CStoreOffice®:
- Go to Data Entry > Dashboard.
- Scroll down to Station Options and click Cash Register.
- Make sure the correct store is selected from the drop-down in the upper right.
- Click the Advanced radio button near the top.
- Click Allow making changes to PB from CR on the left near the top.
- Click Save.
In SmartPOS:
- Swipe to the General Information screen.
- Go to the POS Settings tab.
- Check SmartPOS Price Book Control.
- Tap Save.
