Problem: How is the pin pad IP address set in SmartPOS?
Solution:
  1. Get the IP address of the pin pad (see related solutions at the bottom of this article).
  2. In SmartPOS, go to the General Information screen.
  3. Go to the System Settings tab.
  4. Enter the pin pad's IP address into the appropriate section.
  5. If the time zone has not been set, it will not save.  Enter the time zone information if it is empty (versions before 2.0 only).
  6. Click Save.
    Note: If the time zone needed changed, the system will prompt to restart. Let it restart.
  7. If the time zone did not need changed, go back to the General Information tab and click Refresh.
    Note: If no pin pad is attached, the address should be empty or set to all zeros.
