Question: What does the box "Calculate Book Inventory and Shortages for First Time Inventory" do?

This option applies only for first time inventory and refers to showing difference between physical count done by you and book count available in C-Store Office. If the box is checked, the system will display the difference between physical count done and uploaded by you in the system at the moment of first inventory versus book inventory (purchases-sales-price changes-spoilages) and will tell you your short and over.
For all following inventories the system will calculate the difference based on previous inventory that becomes you book, plus any new purchases from in between inventories, minus sales, price changes and spoilage.

- From the C-Store Office home page go to Inventory > Counts.
- Click Itemized Inventory.
- Click Conduct Inventory.
