24 PK versus 1 Can
24 PK UPC will have a different retail than 1 Can UPC but in this case single can retail will apply for both UPC and a parent-child relationship will be created between 24 PK and 1 Can.
a) To change retail for 24 PK to single can retail from the main page of C-Store office go Price Book > Items > Find > View > Sales and Retail > Change Prices (According to example described above 24 PK/ case UPC will be changed from $ 7.99 to $ 0.99).
b) To create a parent child relationship between 24 PK and single can go to Price Book > Items > find 24 PK UPC > View > Parent Child > Add Child > Type in 1 Can UPC > Relationship 24 > Save.
12 PK and 6 PK versus 1 Can
Since 12 PK and 6 PK have same similar UPC, on UPC itself single can retail will be applied and price modifier promotions will be created for 12 PK and 6 PK promotions.
a) To create a price modifier promotion for 12 PK go to: Price Book > Promotions> New > 12 for $ 7.99 (in example above) > Include items and parent items > under promotion type select price modifier > New special $ 7.99 if customer buys 12 > select start and end date > select participating stores > Save.
